The Victron Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M8) is a professional-grade battery monitoring and DC distribution component designed for larger 12V, 24V and 48V battery systems. Combining a precision 1000A shunt, positive and negative busbars, main system fuse holder, alarm relay and VE.Can communication into a single unit, the Lynx Shunt forms the heart of a Victron Lynx distribution system.

Designed for seamless integration with Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX, the Lynx Shunt provides accurate real-time battery monitoring including state of charge, voltage, current, power consumption, battery temperature and historical performance data. This information can be viewed locally or remotely through the Victron VRM Portal for complete system visibility.

The integrated 1000A shunt continuously tracks all current flowing into and out of the battery bank, delivering highly accurate state of charge calculations. An included temperature sensor allows battery temperature monitoring, while the built-in alarm relay can trigger alerts or control external devices based on battery voltage, state of charge, temperature or a blown main fuse.

Suitable for marine, off-grid, commercial, industrial and advanced 4WD power systems, the Lynx Shunt VE.Can simplifies DC system design while providing the monitoring accuracy and reliability expected from Victron Energy.
