The Victron Lynx Distributor 1000 DC M8 is a premium DC busbar and fuse distribution system designed for high-current battery installations. Built as part of the Victron Lynx modular power distribution range, it combines positive and negative busbars with four individually fused DC circuits in a single professional-grade enclosure.

Ideal for off-grid solar systems, marine electrical installations, caravans, motorhomes and commercial battery systems, the Lynx Distributor provides a clean, organised and scalable method of distributing power to inverters, chargers, DC loads and auxiliary equipment. The integrated fuse monitoring system provides visual indication of blown fuses, helping simplify fault finding and maintenance.

The M8 version features M8 fuse and cable connection points and supports up to four MEGA fuse-protected circuits. When used with a Victron Lynx Smart BMS, fuse status information can also be monitored through VictronConnect, GX devices and the Victron VRM Portal.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with other Victron Lynx modules including the Lynx Power In, Lynx Shunt VE.Can and Lynx Smart BMS, the Lynx Distributor allows installers to build professional, high-current DC systems with simplified wiring, improved safety and future expansion capability.

What does the Victron Lynx Distributor do?

The Lynx Distributor provides safe, organised DC power distribution through four individually fused circuits connected to integrated positive and negative busbars.

Does the Lynx Distributor include fuses?

No. MEGA fuses are required and sold separately, allowing you to select fuse ratings appropriate for each circuit.

What is the difference between the M8 and M10 versions?

The M8 version uses M8 busbar interconnections and cable connection points, while the M10 version uses larger M10 busbar interconnections. Both support M8 fuse and cable connections.

Can the Lynx Distributor be used without a Lynx Smart BMS?

Yes. The Lynx Distributor can operate as a standalone fused busbar system or as part of a complete Victron Lynx installation.

Can fuse status be monitored remotely?

Yes. When connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, fuse status can be viewed through VictronConnect, GX devices and the Victron VRM Portal.
