The Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 500A/50mV is an all-in-one battery monitor without a separate display. Built-in Bluetooth connects to the VictronConnect app, allowing a compatible phone or tablet to show state of charge, battery voltage, current, consumed amp-hours, time remaining and historical data.

Designed for 6.5–70V DC battery systems, the potted IP65 construction provides added protection for demanding caravan, motorhome, marine, 4WD and off-grid installations. A VE.Direct connection allows integration with a compatible Victron GX device.

The auxiliary input can monitor the voltage of a second battery, battery-bank midpoint or temperature when used with the appropriate optional sensor. Unlike a BMV-712, the SmartShunt has no local display, programmable relay or audible alarm; alarms are viewed through VictronConnect or a connected GX device.
