The Victron Energy Orion XS 12/12-70A is an adaptive DC-DC battery charger designed for high-output charging in 12V dual-battery systems, including vehicles fitted with intelligent alternators. Its adjustable 1–70A charge current and up to 1000W continuous output allow the charging performance to be matched to the alternator, cabling and auxiliary battery system.
Built-in Bluetooth Smart provides configuration, monitoring and firmware updates through VictronConnect. VE.Direct and VE.Smart Networking support integration with compatible Victron equipment, while remote on/off control and engine shutdown detection help manage charging automatically.
The Orion XS can operate as a battery charger or configurable DC power supply. Adaptive four-stage charging, battery presets and comprehensive electronic protection support compatible lead-acid and lithium battery installations when correctly configured.
