The REDARC BCDCMB-105 is a vehicle-specific mounting bracket for installing a compatible REDARC BCDC Classic or BCDC Alpha DC to DC battery charger in the engine bay of a Toyota HiLux built from October 2015 onwards.
Made from durable stainless steel, the bracket uses existing vehicle mounting points and installs centrally near the front of the engine bay. This location keeps the charger close to an engine-bay-mounted auxiliary battery while helping expose it to cooler airflow away from higher-temperature areas.
The kit includes the mounting bracket, installation template and mounting hardware for BCDC Classic and BCDC Alpha fitment. It must not be used with REDARC BCDC Core chargers BCDCN1225 or BCDCN1240, or where the auxiliary battery is located outside the engine bay. Installation involves the bonnet catch area and modification of the cover panel, so REDARC recommends installation by a suitably qualified person.
