The REDARC BCDC Core40 BCDCN1240 is a compact 12V 40A DC-DC battery charger designed for in-cabin, canopy and battery-box installations. It combines alternator charging with an integrated MPPT solar regulator, allowing DC and solar input to work simultaneously while Green Power Priority™ favours available solar energy.

Four chemistry-specific charging profiles support standard lead-acid, calcium, gel, AGM and LiFePO4 auxiliary batteries. Compatibility with 12V and 24V standard or variable-voltage alternators makes it suitable for modern touring and work vehicles, while its fan-free form factor allows a tidy, quiet installation close to the auxiliary battery.

Installation note: This Core model is not weatherproof and is not suitable for engine-bay installation. It must be installed in a protected cabin, canopy or battery-box location. REDARC recommends installation by a qualified auto electrician or technician. Required 60A input and output fuses are not supplied.
