The Bushman DF40-HD is a heavy-duty 40L-class 12V/24V drawer fridge designed to maximise chilled food and drink storage without demanding more installation space than the DF30-HD. Its deeper 35L usable tub accommodates up to 34 standard 375ml cans upright, making it the more practical choice for everyday refrigeration in a 4WD canopy, caravan, camper trailer or touring vehicle.
Engineered for hot Australian conditions, the DF40-HD can maintain +4°C refrigeration in ambient temperatures up to 50°C. It can also provide mild freezing down to -10°C in ambient temperatures up to 40°C, but customers requiring a permanent -18°C deep freezer should choose the DF30-HD instead.
The Secop BDN50K compressor, twin cross-flow fans, stainless steel runners and steel slam latch support demanding mobile installations. The cabinet can be flush fitted and shares the DF30-HD external dimensions, allowing both models to be installed side by side or double stacked with the optional Bushman kit. Correct ventilation, rear clearance and direct-to-battery wiring remain essential.
